Good Start

I feel like I am off to a good start, I have my shop up and running. I ordered my business cards today. Now it will be time to pimp my shop out via blogs and such. Time to get the word out there.

I need a internet street team, lol. People to help me spread the word.

More to come I have 16 items to list before I start making more items. Next item on my list to do tonight is order business cards, and then maybe take some of my photos and shrink them down to size I can print and place onto pieces of jewelry.

made some head way today

Scanned all of my pieces, ordered boxes from the post office. Typed up my policies for my etsy store. Just waiting on paypal to verify my account. Yuk.

great finds

So I came across some old life magazines from the 60's. I plan on using the vintage advertisements to make some neat jewelry pieces. My shop has had a few set backs, mainly creating a work schedule with a 4 year old. I still have of being open before Christmas.

I think I want to go craft fairing this weekend.. The post final papers weekend. I want to check it our and determine if it is something I am willing to try.

I participated in a photo swap on craftster, it was fun taking a variety of photos. If you are friends with me on facebook you can see all of the fun photos I took.

I also received many neat,pretty, awesome photos from someone else! I loved all of the graffiti photos from Toronto!

Business cards done

Ok I really need to focus on school this week. I have a huge bio test on sat about the heart. Unfortunately my mind keeps thinking of jewelry ideas. Perhaps I will make a piece or two to settle my mind.

Found some awesome deformed sea glass.... Took some amazing photos of misc. item. Gosh I love the ocean and it's many treasures.

Found some neat beads, also picked up some more resin. I am also keeping my fingers crosssed that I get to do this photo swap on craftsters. Sounds like fun, and could be a litter direction and reason to use my new camera :)

Hello reader! So I have been making jewelry for almost 20 years. After making varies things for friends and also getting rave reviews from strangers on my creations I have decided to start selling things via etsy. My ETA of opening my is May 30th. This blog is going to follow my path to opening my etsy store.

Yesterday I finished my banner, I still have ideas for a different one. But unfortunately time is I have little time this week to work on it. Between school work, work, and my DS, I have little free time this week.
